shakingREDIRECTING YOUR FAITH!

I don’t know about you but I have been in a season of transition and transformation. It seems as if everything in my life has been turned upside down and shaken.  Now don’t get me wrong, although this is an uncomfortable place, and I often find myself wanting to scream, it is not necessarily a bad thing. If I really want to be honest, it is a good thing. I believe that times like these force us to gain a new perspective on life.

The challenges of life force us to question ourselves. In addition, we are forced to identify where we have placed our faith. Is our faith placed in the job that we go to every day? Is our faith placed in the people whom we call friends? Is our faith placed on our good looks?  Do we place more faith in the government than in God? Could it be that we have possibly become too complacent in the life that we live? How do we hold on or do we even have the ability to hold on through these difficult times. There are a lot of questions that come to the forefront of our mind as we struggle through the transitions and challenges of life.

Are things shaking in your life? Has life become challenging and uncomfortable? Hold on! You will make it through. This week think about your faith and where you have placed it. What and who are you depending on? Redirect your faith to a place that can’t be shaken.  God can never be shaken. He alone has the power to bring you through your challenges and transitions, transform you, and bring you to a place that far exceeds your expectations. I dare you to try it! (Hebrews 11, Hebrews 12). bug
