Life is not easy.  As we walk out this journey, we sometimes hit unexpected walls, potholes, and pits in our lives.  We get bruised, thrown out of alignment, and may even fall.  The people who we thought would always love and understand us hurt us.  We face situations that rattle our emotions and hurt us at the core of who we are.  It is here that we are faced with decisions.  How are we going to deal with our pain?  Do we cover it up and pretend it’s not there?  Do we fade away into a cloud of depression?  Do we lash out in anger?  Do we stay stuck in our pain, never fully moving forward?  It is here that we must learn to cry out to our Father in heaven.  We must depend on Him to reach into that place inside of us that no one else can see or touch.  Allow the Father’s touch to heal the pain, soothe the anger, and teach us to be forgiven as well as to forgive.  There is nothing like the touch of our Father.

I want to challenge you this week to begin to allow God to deal with those areas of your life that are hard to deal with.  He already knows about them, He is just waiting for you to acknowledge your need for Him. Allow Him to touch those wounds that will not heal on their own.  Talk to Him about the things that you cannot share with anyone else.  Allow Him to touch the bruises that you have desperately tried to cover up.  It is time for healing.  It is time to live well.  It is time to unveil the beauty underneath the pain.

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds [curing their pains and their sorrows] Psalm 147:3 Amplified bug
